I'll gladly use this section!!! first I want to say thanks to jillianne for this AMAZING story!!! then I want to throw a question out there that is more me thinking out loud!

so jillianne knows that if she were to end the story we'd all throw a fit, so surely she is coming up with creative ways to keep it going ;-) I'm wondering if jordan will get pregnant, even though she didn't think she was able to... it would sure throw a twist in there! I'm sure jillianne won't reveal the plot :-) I'm just thinking out loud!

I dont know - while I certainly love Jordan and in my fantasy I am her, I still think Jon and Dot are meant to be together in the end. I guess that's the married woman in me talking, but I just think she's been by his side for all these years and that has to count for something. That being said if it were my hubby I kick his a$$ to the curb, but then again I'm not married to Jon :(
I guess I should put a question in here too. Jillianne how are you handling you new found fame and are we pressuring you too much? I kind of feel like this is the equivilent of my kids asking JK Rowling about the plot of the next Harry Potter book.
PS Great Work - keep it coming...if you know what I mean :)

hahaha! it is like bugging JK rowling! only better, I'm not on the harry potter site everyday for updates... and I LOVE those books! yes jilli... how are you handling all of this fame?!?! I mean you are quite popular right now!

My "new found fame" LOL! I guess I am a little surprised that people are so "rabid" about it but my original readers have enjoyed it so much it just seemed like it might be fun to make it available to more people. I was surprised how quickly people found out about it, actually.

The story isn't finished yet but I can tell you I know how it's going to end. And yes, it is going to end! Originally it was going to be just a short story and end when they both left Chicago. But the storyline and characters kind of took on a life of their own and I decided to make it a little longer. I didn't want it to turn into a soap opera though. Plus, frankly, it would start to get boring. As one person said to me in a private e-mail, we don't want to "jump the shark" and have people lose interest before the end, which could happen!

I believe that he should end up with Jordan in the end. This is just a make believe story of the man we all love. It's all of our fantasies. This is just my opinion. I love it and my interest is still going strong. Thanks Jilliannek for sharing this with us. I don't want this to end but when it does, do you have another story in mind?? Hint, hint. Jonnyangel

I love this story!!! I know it will have to end, I'm just not sure how?? I know we would all love for Jon to end up with Jordan, but then how would the next story begin??:) I like the idea of another story when this one is finished, maybe to lucky girl in the next one could be named Sharon! Just a thought:) But of course, it really all depends on whether or not Jillianne wants to keep writing these stories!!We all hope you do!! Just think how cute a couple named Jon & Sharon sounds!! So perfect!! HaHaHaHaHa!!!

Yeah, maybe the next story will take place in Romania, the character's name will be Bianca and it will be for real...righty then, I love your story, Jillian, really amazing!

I really dont care who Jon ends up with in the end.Its not goingto make any difference to my fantasy. And besides I think Jordan had no expectations. I is going to be interesting to see how JillianK plays it out. I will be happy if he goes back to his wife or if he stays with Jordan.
As long as he visits me every night in my dreams, thats all i am concerned about.
Great Story JillianK. Thanks.

Not since Judy Blume have I been so engrossed in a story. You've GOT to keep it going. I won't be able to think of anything else! :o)

I'm so intrigued now---this is all I've thought about! There's an issue of birth control, or lack thereof... could Jordan conceive after all? And how ironic that it to be the "love child" of Jon Bon Jovi?? He could easily keep this from Dorothy. The possibilities are endless. I know, Jillianne, that you've decided the ending. I could not imagine ever growing tired of this story! I can't wait to see how it all plays out.

I think that it will have to end between jon and jordan... and that it'll be really sad because even though they both knew nothing could come of the relationship before it began, they are falling for each other. jon wouldn't put his family, friends, band mates, and publicity in jeopardy for "another woman"... it's just not jon. and since the rest of the story all seems like stuff jon would do and say (to me anyway)... I think that he'll end up doing the right thing, going home to dot. it'll be sad when it's over.

hey jilli... some ideas for more stories (since you're not off the hook ;-)... what about going back in time and writing about jon and dot's coming together. livin' in sin was inspired by some very eventful nights I'm sure!!! ;-) just throwing ideas in, cuz you know we all "need" more, like jordan :-D thanks again!!!!!!

how about having either jon or jordan waking up from either a dream or from being in the hospital? jordan could have been in the hospital, you know, and could have been out of it for awhile, and have her wake up as the "ending?" i don't konw. it was just an idea!! great work jillianne!

A few chapters back (before they left Chicago) I actually toyed with the idea of having one of them wake up just as the plane was landing in Denver...having it all be a dream. However, my friends basically threatened my life if I did that. Some friends, huh? ;-)

jonluva said...

it's s'alright chris I've been laying on the pressure too! poor jilli... do you mind if I call you that? the goddess of all totally hot stories takes a lot longer to write ;-)

it's been at least 24 hours since the last chapter... what's the hold up!? just teasin'! you take the time you need to create magic... it's worth the wait!

Just checking in as I have been doing faitfully every day! :)

How are you doing Jilliannek?

I have a couple of questions for you....

When you are constructing your stories do your plots play out like movies in your head? Do you see your characters in the settings you are creating, hear their conversations, know how each piece of the plot fits with the ones that have gone by and the ones that are ahead?

And...

Do your characters ever get to the point where they become so real that you could almost have a conversation with them? I've had that happen to me...there's an eleven year old boy who is the protagonist in a Christmas story I'm working on who has become so "real", that I'm starting to say "good-night" to the kid when I power down the PC at the end of the day...(no, I'm neither drunk nor insane...LOL!)

Thank you

Trish

Nice question Trish!

My plot develops very much in my mind, whether I'm in front of the computer or not. I have to plan ahead a lot in order to lay the pieces in place for what will later happen. By the time I actually sit down and write, most of a chapter's storyline has been written in my mind and I just have to put it into words. As far as them talking to me--yes, definitely. There have been lines that the characters have said that actually surprised me when it happened. For example, the "Saxaphone my ass." I didn't plan that, and when he said it in my mind right at the point I was writing that scene, I literally gasped. It also got funny for a while that the sound of his speaking voice--if I heard an interview or something--was a bit of a turn-on for me, because I'd been "hearing" his voice in my mind so much--especially in the scenes with a lot of dialogue.

I think your characters HAVE to take on a life of their own, if you're going to make them at all believable. These people are very real to me--naturally, Jordan has a lot of ME in her, because you write what you know. And obviously this "Jon" is largely a character I've simply developed AROUND what we know--or think we know--about the real person. I feel their turmoil, their passion, each and every emotion. Trish, I'd love to see what you've written if you care to share!

Jilli...I totally understand about Jon's speaking voice being a turn on after hearing him so often in your head...I've tried my hand at fan fiction...and there have been times when just like the "Saxophone, my ass" statement...that he "said" something in my head that immediately went into the story...there are times when I plan way ahead and spend some time thinking about what the next segment will be about...but I post mine in a couple of MSN groups I'm a member of and the girls there can be pretty demanding...so there are times when I sit down and just start typing...and the story just flows from me. Do you ever have moments where the story itself just seems to take on a life of it's own and spills out of you like some sort of release? That happens to me quite often. The girls in one of the groups encouraged me to submit mine to a publisher and so I changed the names and quite a few of the Jovi references (I left a few of the more subtle ones in there) and submitted it...it was accepted...and believe it or not is available to buy now...not that I'm bragging...just building up to saying....YOU SHOULD DO THE SAME WITH THIS ONE!!...lol...Great job...and I eagerly await the next chapter!!

The story definitely takes on a life of its own. But I can't force it. It has to develop in my mind first and then when I sit down to write it will start to flow. I guess I COULD force it but I don't think it would be as good because it wouldn't have had time to develop--and I am VERY picky about the flow, the phrases, the words, etc. I need to be able to visualize things exactly and then I want to translate that into words so the read can do the same. However, there are certain scenes that I've already played out in my mind that are still a few chapters away even. But I need to construct the path there...and make it interesting along the way.
I toy with the idea of changing some names and a few other related details and submitting it. I think it needs more substance though. So at this point I don't know. Feel free to e-mail me the name of your book though so I can look for it!
